Are mickey and minnie dating

The celebrations begin today with the launch at Selfridges store in London, of tributes to the iconic pair by leading fashion designers.

The designs will be auctioned later for Barnados and Children in Need.

It’s no surprise that the Disney world is also a dating community: The theme parks have been one of the top honeymoon destinations for decades.

The man who served as the voice of Walt Disney’s iconic Mickey mouse for over 30 years, Wayne Allwine, was married to the woman who voices Minnie Mouse, Russi Taylor. The two were married for nearly two decades until Wayne Allwine passed away in 2009 due to complications from diabetes. It wasn’t until the announcement of his passing that many in the public began to realize he was married to the woman who voiced his love interest on the big screen.

Tomorrow sees the anniversary of the debut of Mickey and Minnie in Steamboat Willie, first shown at the Colony Theatre in New York City on November 18, 1928.

To commemorate the date, Disney has created a limited edition range to celebrate the anniversary and Selfridges will unveil two window displays of the tributes to the pair tomorrow.

Someday your prince may come — but now it’s much easier to find him, thanks to a new Disney dating site.

Mouse sets up Mickey and Minnie maniacs with online profiles where they can seek out like-minded singles based on their favorite Disney songs and characters.

The site is a “place to connect people who love Disney and who want the same magic in their relationship” — but without having to shlep to a pricey theme park to hit on other people wild about Walt.

Creator Dave Tavres, a Disney devotee himself, dreamed up the Magic Kingdom after a 2011 trip to Disneyland.
